I find this book to be a great reference when I want to get a quick peak into the technical reservoir side of things. I do not have a background in fluid mechanics, but this book breaks down some technical concepts into understandble passages to a point where I can at least follow the reservoir/completions guys during well review meetings.

Minotaur's aren't just mindless beasts

A nicely entertaining quick read with a interesting origins point of view from the stand point of Minotaur's. Good character development for a short story with several story twists that help move the general plot along smoothly. Would have like to see a few things within the story fleshed out but it leaves the author plenty of opportunity for follow on stories. Highly recommend picking this up if your looking for a quick entertaining read.

Who knew Minotaurs were so interesting?

This prequel starts the whole series off with a bang! It has everything I look for in a book: imaginative world building, strong plot, a story line that doesn't stall; delightfully unexpected twists, three dimensional, believable characters; descriptive narrative, and show-not-tell writing.

Some grammar errors, but easily overlooked. All in all, a truly enjoyable read. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

What I liked about this story is that it is centered around minotaurs. Margaff is named their new emperor, and it is his wish to unite all of the tribes and bring peace to all of the races...

Within this story, you also discover that the dwarves may not have been the 1st created race after all, as previously believed in Toxopeus' world. The 1st created race may in fact have been the Aeri - half man/half bird beings, created by the Titans, Air & Earth, to have dominion over the sky and the land.

While not tying in directly with anything that happened in Book 1, this is still an interesting read, taking place in the same world, well before the events in 'A Noble's Quest'.
